As the Founder of Haumann Group, I’ve always believed that strong manufacturing partnerships are built through direct technical conversations — not marketing promises. That’s why I’m returning to PTXPO Chicago 2026, North America’s most focused plastics and injection molding technology event.
PTXPO is where real production challenges are discussed: from tooling validation and dimensional control to scaling production with confidence.
March 17–19, 2026 — Rosemont, Illinois

What PTXPO Means to Me as a Founder
PTXPO isn’t about flashy slogans — it’s about listening to OEM engineers, understanding how real manufacturing decisions are made, and exchanging insights on precision processes.
For us at Haumann, PTXPO has helped shape our values: process discipline, engineering collaboration, and long-term reliability.
It’s an essential platform for OEM engineers, plastics experts, and precision manufacturers to connect and build supplier relationships based on trust and technical excellence.

What Has Changed for Haumann in 2026
Since our last PTXPO appearance, we’ve made strategic upgrades to our U.S. operations:
- Expanded U.S. manufacturing in Houston
- Integrated injection molding, CNC machining, and CMM inspection under one roof
- Production-ready capacity for demanding OEM programs
- A dual-base manufacturing model (U.S. & China) for flexibility, speed, and scale
These investments enhance our capacity to support OEMs across North America with consistently high-quality components.
Proven OEM Experience with a Leading U.S. Appliance Brand
One example of our approach in action: Haumann supported a precision injection molding program for a U.S.-based appliance OEM.
By collaborating early on Design for Manufacturability (DFM) , validating tooling, and applying disciplined process control, we enabled:
- Dimensional stability
- Repeatability across builds
- A seamless transition from pilot to production
This project reinforced a core belief: manufacturing success is defined long before the first shot — during engineering collaboration and tooling setup.
Why I’m Focused on Engineering Conversations at PTXPO
At PTXPO 2026, I’m here to listen, learn, and connect with those solving the same challenges we face every day — from tolerances and mold flows to post-processing and QA stability.
For me, PTXPO isn’t a show — it’s an engineer-to-engineer environment where technical credibility matters. And I welcome conversations about:
- Tooling validation
- Scaling production with confidence
- Engineering integration between plastic and metal systems
- Building supplier partnerships that last beyond the prototype phase
